Reporting Child Abuse Online:
The viewing or possession of sexually explicit imagery of anyone under the age of 18 is illegal. If you encounter child sexual abuse images or material online, report it to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).
Your report will help lead to the removal of child sexual abuse material from the web and could help rescue a child victim from further abuse.
Notify the police if you think a child is at immediate risk:
If you think a child may be at immediate risk of abuse you are encouraged to call your local police force. Alternatively, if you have been a victim of sexual online abuse or you're worried this is happening to someone you know, you can report it to CEOP - the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) command (U.S Site). Children can also make direct reports.
Seek help if you are concerned about your own behaviour:
Seeking sexually explicit images of children can have grave consequences. If you are concerned about your online viewing of sexual images of children or if you have not looked at them but have an urge to do so, you can access anonymous, confidential and effective help to stop from stopitnow.org & seek-help.stopitnow.org.uk.
